Can't recover my account

I just got the game today and since it’s still taking awhile to install and patch, I decided to create my account and stuff. But when I tried logging in on the game launcher it said the username or password was incorrect. So after a few retries to make sure they were correct I decided to try the recover account option. Then after entering my email and serial number it asks for one of my character’s names when I don’t have a character since I haven’t played yet.

Can someone please help ;_;?

If it’s asking for a character name, then you linked your Guild Wars account to your Guild Wars 2 account. If that is the case, then try using your Guild Wars log-in name and password. If that doesn’t work, the Support Team will be happy to help!
