Can't purchase additional character slot

I went to the Gem store to purchase an additional character slot. On the upgrade it states “You have already purchased the maximum number of this item”, I find this very puzzling as up to now I have purchased 0 additional character slots.
The only upgrades I have purchased are bank tabs, which have nothing to do with character slots.

Problem solved, I relogged a few times (first 3 had no effect), & it appears I can now purchase a character slot.

Awesome. We’ve had some intermittent outages and maybe that’s what you ran into. Thanks for your patience in trying a few times, and, most of all, thank you for your support of our game!
