Can't Log Into the game client

I’m trying to reinstall Gw2 because an error caused the game to be deleted from my computer..
I go on download client download for windows and the set up works fine
When the guild wars 2 game client comes up i put my email and password
but nothing happens it just loads …and loads ..and loads and becomes non responsive
if i press cancel nothing happens i cant close the game client either.
i know i got my password correct so im not sure whats going on

Hey there,

Do you have any security software running by chance? Have you tried simply running the client as admin? Lastly, what sort of system specs are you working with?
