Can't Launch on Mac Mini

Downloaded the client to both my Mini and my Air and the game is currently patching on my Air, but I’m having some trouble with the Mini.

The client seems to install fine and I get the success message after its finished but when I launch the game client from /Applications nothing happens. The icon doesn’t jump or display in the dock, no processes are shown in Activity Monitor, nothing at all…

My mini has two drives, an SSD (to which the system is installed) and a HDD (which stores my home directory and then also my Bootcamp Partition). This is also the computer which is running GW2 in Bootcamp. I’ve tried installing the client to the system drive (SSD) and also to the HDD just for kicks. Doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Here are the specs:

2GHz Quad Core i7
8GB RAM
120GB SSD and 500GB HDD
Intel HD 3000 (allotted 512MB VRAM from the system memory)
running OS X 10.8 (build 12A269)

We just updated the Mac Beta installer to include our newest launcher, which could help if you are having issues with the first launch of the client.

You can download it from the same location on the account page:
https://account.guildwars2.com/download

Note: Re-installing will overwrite the existing game, and you will have to download the game content again. Only re-install if you are having trouble with the launcher. If you are able to log into the launcher, then your client is up to date, and re-installing is unlikely help at this time.

This version of the launcher also has better error recovery, so if your problems persist, it may help to let the launcher stay on-screen for a minute or two.
