Cannot install the game, help needed.

Hello fellow players and staff.

I have just downloaded the gw2setup.exe and i cannot install it.
It starts off by downloading 10640kb of data and then restarts the launcher as i believe it should. When it does, it crashes, with the following details:

I should say i have tried to put the file in a non read-only folder, which was no good since i actualy don’t know where it is aiming to write. I also tried running as administrator.

Hi hasggar – Could you please post your system specs to this thread? This is generally the result of a system not meeting the minimum requirements.

SeVeN – You have a lot of running background processes enabled. I’d recommend disabling any security software that you have (as a test, not a permanent solution) or trying an Msconfig to disable all non-Microsoft start-up apps in one go.
