I’m quite hot on reporting what I think are bots and people using offensive language in chat, but I have made a couple of mistakes in my time; a player I thought was a bot may all of a sudden strafe or dodge (something bots generally don’t do), or I realise after the fact that I’ve reported the wrong person for another’s verbal abuse.
Can you guys add a “Rescind Last Report” function?
I will ask about that “reverse action” button. However, I’m sure if we did add the feature it would be quite a bit down the priority list.
Please be aware: Reports are reviewed by a human being, and no account would be actioned based on a mistaken (or even a real) report. It would be more time-consuming to get a ticket saying “Please ignore that report” than to simply have confidence that the occasional error will be ignored and that the player who was mistakenly flagged will not suffer any ill consequences.
