Can not click play?

I was gone for 2-3 days as I had a bit of research to do and papers to write so something may have changed.

I can not click the login button. Did a dash or research and looked at the support page and saw.

“If the Play button on your Guild Wars 2 client is grayed-out and you’ve finished patching, please verify your e-mail address. Instructions on how to do so can be found here.”

How does one verify his @plaync email? It should be noted I specifically stayed on my @plaync account because the only people who should know it are myself and @plaync(atleast tis my hope/faulty reasoning)

That and if I recall correctly changing my @plaync account also changes my GW1 too, which is something I rather not do.

I can disable the need for authentication but to do that I must be linked which will most likely involve changing said email.

tl;dr

I dont want to change my password and I dont want the authentication. @plaync is good enough for me. So how do I go about playing this great game again?
ill be in gw1 whilst I wait for a response.
