This is probably going to sound absolutely insane to most that read it, but… I’ve decided to come back and give the game another shot, however I’d like to do so on a “clean” account.
I’d like to start with no achievement points, none of the “progression” associated with an account. I don’t care about the characters I have either, as obviously I didn’t progress too far (maybe 36 or so) last time.
So my question to Anet is, is there a way to totally wipe my account and start from scratch?
I’ve seen a lot of re-rolls of characters, but I don’t see too many people asking for a complete account wipe or reset. I’m sorry, but we are not able to completely remove every element related to an existing account. As players have mentioned above, you can delete your characters and your items and start afresh, but there are a few components of the account that will remain in place. I personally feel those components are minor enough that you’ll still have pretty much the “new player experience” but I leave it to you to kitten how you feel about it, of course.
