Having been a victim of being hacked this past weekend like hundreds (if not thousands) of others, and currently awaiting a roll back of my account to attempt to get the majority of my stuff back, I find myself wondering:
When it comes to gold sellers in game, is it best to ignore them and let them spam? Is it still safe to interact with their posts enough to block and report them? I hear different things, so I’m curious. I have heard that if you click on them or interact with them in any capacity they can gain access to information, so I’m wondering what I can do to help combat this menace without compromising my own security again. The ONLY interaction I’ve ever had with anyone spamming gold selling in game was to right click and report and then right click and block, but I still became a victim of being hacked.
Any information to help ease my peace of mind would be helpful.
