Hello,

I recently used the Team Speak 3 for voice communication with friends. To this program is included with another program called the " Overwolf " , which is just an overlay interface . When I wanted to login I have enabled Team Speak , jumped message enter the code from the Google Authenticator . On my phone software (Android ) have been damaged, and I was forced to reset the software I lost all data and applications (including Google Authenticator ) . I wrote to the Support team to have blocked me this Authenticator . I wrote back something like " Your account has been blocked due to the use of third party programs ." Disappointed when seemingly respectable company accuses players do not rightly considered fraud.

And now the question arises as to the community of Guild Wars 2 and the support on whether the API is banned?

Here is a short quote regarding your perspective on the overlay :
" From our perspective , having an overlay is just a different way of presenting content. "

Thank you, and I hope for a quick response .

As for Overwolf :

It is a type of overlay program that does not make the game any facilities related to gameplay or the customer. This is an external program , which provides browser, chat and remote control applications without having to shut down the client or minimize it.

This does not interact with the game, and should be ok.

I think your fellow players are right — I highly doubt that you were banned for this program. Here’s a scenario: someone eats a doughnut while driving, and drives down the freeway at 100 MPH. He gets a ticket and says “I was caught for eating a doughnut!” Not exactly the case.

Your account was terminated, you’ve appealed, your case has been reviewed, and you’ve been given an answer. If you would like further review, you can post in the Tickets for Review thread, but be aware that the cases where a decision about botting is overturned are about as rare as diamonds in doughnuts.
