I would like to report a bug to a dev but i would prefer not to tell people on chat as doing so would cause many problems is there a way i can tell/email someone about it?

No, I’m not trolling. (I work for Arena.net, I’m not going to troll people asking questions.) Your description of the bug is extremely vague, but you can send mail to [email protected] if it’s an issue that you don’t want to publicize.
