Black Lion Trading messed up

So I don’t know what’s wrong with my Black Lion Trading window. The text is really spread out and it’s incredibly difficult to click anything, on top of the fact that there’s part of the window I can’t get to. I’ve tried changing the size of the interface and the resolution, both to no avail. Any help?

Hi Phishhy It’s possible this may be caused by outdated Root Certificates on your machine. In an effort to update these I would like for you to follow the steps below:

1. Close out of Guild Wars 2 if you have it running and go to your Documents folder. In the Guild Wars 2 folder you should have a file called Local.dat, delete this file.

2. Download the program from the link below:

http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/rootsupd.exe

3. Run the program. You will probably have to click ‘run’ or ‘allow’ a couple times, but after that, nothing will appear.

If you run the program and nothing happens that’s ok, it is as it should be.

4. Open the Game Client and try to access the trading post.

Hope this helps!

Hey guys, for anyone whose still having this problem I would try repairing the client. Aside from this you’ll also want to ensure all video card drivers are updated. Another thing you’ll want to check is to make sure to run the client as Admin when you launch it.

And just for good measure, if you’ve got a lot of background applications enabled, specifically security software, this can conflict with the Black Lion Trading Post as well and I might even suggest running Msconfig to rule these applications out.
