I’ve heard rumors that a few people have been banned for selling Arah. Anyone that has been affected by this confirm? It would be nice to know so my account does not get compromised… maybe some moderator confirmation?
To respond to some concerns on this thread, players are not being actioned for “Selling Runs”. They are being actioned for selling exploited runs. There is a very big difference here. Using terrain exploits to skip bosses is well outside the bounds of normal and allowed gameplay, and consequently using them to personally profit and sell the runs furthers the issue.
The Guild Wars 2 Rules of Conduct clearly states:
You will not exploit any bug in Guild Wars 2 and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bug (bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits) either directly or through public posting, to any other user of Guild Wars 2.
I am going to go ahead and close this thread as this is not the place to appeal a ban, and it has strayed far from it’s original topic.
