I’ve been a member of Guild Wars 2 for a while, and I DO use macros for saying stupid things in PvP like “ezpz” or “2ez4me” or “yawn”. I admit I do have those. I have been farming areas, running dungeons, playing EotM with my new account. Leveling with some new friends hopping over to my world. Me and my friend found a great way to make money in the Cursed Shores by killing the champs and farming T6. People called it the “Banned Shore” For a reason but I never really worried twice about that. I farmed my butt off with my friend who… well… may probably be getting banned too soon? After just buying this game for my friend and a GPU for him as well. The literal DAY before he gets it – I get banned. I’d love to have someone tell me if this has happened to them? I do use macros for keys to type things in fast. At the LEAST I think I should just be muted? Or at least given a warning. After just about breaking down I told myself instead of being a baby I would post here and see what the heck happened? I literally also just bought the bloodstone shard piece for Twilight for 200 skill points.

This forum is not a place for appealing a ban, but since went into so much detail on why you think you got banned, I’ll go into the same detail on why you got banned.

Your account was terminated due to use of a 3rd Party Botting program. In regards to your reference to Cursed Shore, that is where you were reported (thanks players that reported you) and investigated. After watching your character, our GM team was able to determine that you were running a bot.

To extend further on that investigation, I looked into the logs and it looks like you were leaving your bot on for a couple of hours then playing the game later.

I also find it very interesting that a user by the name of kitten Cracked also has a post on a known botting forum named “How I make 23 gold a night” in which that user goes into depth about botting in Cursed Shore.
