I know I’m not the only person who’s seen this. Certain players belong to an “ArenaNet” guild, and have the ArenaNet logo as their guild abbreviation. Are these GMs? None of them will respond to me in game and I can’t find any documentation here or on the wiki that mentions them.
They are ArenaNet staff members. If they happen to answer you, then consider it a bonus, as they’re generally either working on the game or playing the game in their off time (yes, we’re allowed to have time off, like on evenings and weekends!).
Please don’t pepper them with requests for customer support or account help or anything of that nature. They’re not GMs/Customer Support staff members and they will not be able to help you with customer support requests.
