ArenaNet, don't listen to every negative post in the forums.

Personally I am having a blast, and aside from the occasional in game bugs I find the game highly enjoyable and downright epic in some instances. However, you can’t please everyone and if you try to please everyone’s tastes you will lose sight of your own vision and goals. This game is art, and like all forms of art, it isn’t meant to loved by everyone.

I find these forums full of meaningless negativity and whining, and while I do believe that all the complaining is a sign of issues that need to be ironed out, not all of the complains are constructive to the game.

I can see clearly that 80% of all the criticism is related to players bringing an old MMO mindset to the game, such as endgame or gear, and being disappointed with what they find here. In this case, the best thing you guys can do try to educate the players on the vision of the game and where you want to take it. (You guys have been doing a pretty good job at it so far, keep it up.)

One more thing I would like to add is that I don’t want to see this game nerfed into oblivion due to developers yielding to the cries of frustrated players. Please keep Guild wars challenging and if possible add more difficulty to dynamic events.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post, may you find it helpful.

Hi everyone.

Constructive critic and discussion is productive as long as it does not result in personal allusions. Please, keep this thread tidy and stay in the topic. Thanks!
