Account Termination for no reason

I was a veteran of Guild Wars 1, and have been playing Guild Wars 2 since just last Wednesday, and have been having a blast. Yesterday, I was suddenly logged out and received a message when I attempted to log back in that my “Guild Wars 2 account has been terminated for a breach of the User Agreement and/or Rules of Conduct. This action is permanent.” What? There was no reason, and no supporting information or notifications. I am well aware of account security, and my account was not breached. I know what bots are, and I surely wasn’t using one. I know the naming policies – I didn’t violate them. I have no interest in and have never purchased in game items/currency with real world money. I do not run any third party programs simultaneously with games. My chat logs are beyond appropriate, since the most offensive thing I’ve said in game is “thanks”.

The User Agreement states that NCSoft has the right to terminate an account for cause – but there was no cause for mine. I have no choice but to assume this ban is fraudulent. May I please have some light shed on this situation? I do currently have an unresolved ticket (130324-002061).

I note that you submitted a ticket to our Support Team yesterday. That’s exactly what you should do and the matter may already be resolved. If not, please allow time for the team to help you. Their turn-around time is very quick, and I believe your issue will be addressed quite soon.

The forums are not intended as an means to instantly follow up on tickets. The process is for the player to submit a ticket and allow the team to research the matter and respond to the player. Naturally, if a ticket is delayed, we want to help. If you find you still need help after three days, feel free to post in the Tickets for Review thread, which is at the top of this Account Support sub-forum.
