I’m sure I’m not the first person out there to have deleted a character and later regretted the decision.
Without the ability to undelete a character, it would be good to have some other option available, such as an account rollback.

I understand the request, but at this point, restorations/roll-backs are only for account compromise incidents.
Do keep in mind that deleting a character takes three steps. They were extended to require confirmation — up to and including typing out the full character name — to avoid accidental deletions. Such deletions still happen, but they are few and far between, and thankfully so.
