Accidental Transmutation of Armor Skin

So I imagine I’m out of luck on this but I thought I’d ask. Is there any way of recovering a single piece of a gem store armor skin if it is accidentally overridden with a transmutation stone? From what I understand transmutation is irreversible and gem store armor is only sold in packs. So would I be correct in assuming the only way to fix this is by purchasing the entire armor skin set again from the gem store?

I am afraid to tell you that you are right in your assumption. Customer Support won´t return your armour skin as this is a human mistake and not something out of a bug or an in-game error. In this case, you need to purchase again the entire armour skin set, yes, if you want to have it back.
