Accidental Reporting.

After someone Scammed 2 gold from me I reported him for scamming, as you do. But I saw a gold selling option in the list too, and I knew I’d been sent a few mails so I went into my mail box and accidentally reported one of my guildies for gold selling not the gold seller who’s message I’d deleted earlier that day(which I obviusly did not realise at the time). not long after I saw a guy trying to scam someone else on a different account in the exact same way so I reported him too but I feel really bad about it now because Anet might think I was reporting people for no reason, consequently I could never get my 2 gold back or my account could be banned. even though my intentions where good :(
Thanks for Hearing me out.

We would not block someone because he or she was reported. We use the reports as the basis for an investigation and if the research shows that the person was involved in the reported behavior — like botting, offensive language, etc. — then action is taken.

There is no system that automatically blocks an account based on a report, or even based on multiple reports. Each suspension is handled by a human being.
