first of all i did not know where to post this, so I’m sorry if it is in the wrong place.
I’m currently writing an thesis about narrative in video games and wanted to do an in-depth analysis of the character creation, personal story and parts of the living story.
I want to research the approaches in narrative in video games and how this affects the player(s).
I was told this would be no problem, because the publication is not commercial. But I would use heavely assets, (dialouges, cutscenes etc) which are clearly not my property. I just wanted to make sure.
After 1 year of enjoying gw2 it is just easier to analyze it instead of something new.
And if i need a proper permission. Please pm me or something.
