I died, and the note says my items will .....

I died, and a note popped up on my screen saying that "you have died, you will revive at your last checkpoint, and your items will take damage" (something along those lines)

i checked my items, and they are still all at full durability,

I tested this and found that level 10 is when durability loss starts. It would probably help if the death screen mentioned that, although small it could cut down on confusion.
