Steam Overlay doesn't work

I tried everything. Window mode, Full screen windowed, and full screen, but it looks like D3 is blocking the Steam Overlay from starting. Is it intentional, or simply a bug related to the beta?
PS: Steam Overlay works really well in SC2

We don't support the Steam overlay. I would recommend posting this in the Steam forums.
