Firebats causes disconnect

Whenever I spam firebats, it causes a strange disconnect. I can see everyone, and minimap still shows their movement and quest updates, but I cant cast, pick up items, or hearth. No amount of waiting fixes this. I have recreated the error 5 times now.

It is possible to disconnect from the client while casting channeled spells, including Firebats, Electrocute, and Disintegrate.
