Updating Blizzard Launcher - 0%

Played the beta for the first time earlier today. Stopped to do some work.

Went back a few hours later and was stuck at "Updating Blizzard Tools." I Alt+Ctl+Del and closed the Agent and opened it again. Got past Updating Blizzard Tools but then got stuck at the launcher with "Updating Blizzard Launcher 0%" with a grayed out play button.

Restarted, launched it, got a "update available for launcher" message, clicked restart, it restarted, and now I'm stuck at "Updating Blizzard Launcher 0%" again.

Firewalls disabled.

Win 7 64 bit.

Cutwolf, in the D3 install folder, do you see an Updates folder? if so, I'd perhaps try moving the contents of that folder temporarily outside of the D3 install directory or, try renaming the folder. Once you've done that, try to run the launcher again. Also, make sure from the task manager the agent / client is closed.

Or, as per Vasadan's advise, try uninstalling the game entirely and reinstalling.
