Mind On The Metal Achievement Bugged

So i got the plans to learn the recipe on the first skeleton king run after patch 6. When I learned it, I did not receive credit. Now i cannot relearn the pattern so im stuck with an achievement I cannot achieve. Is there a way around this? Is there another plan available to learn?

There are at least two patterns available that I've found. Unfortunately, learning a new pattern is the only way to get the achievement right now.
