When you switch an item of size 1x2 with an item 1x1 in a specific manner (seems to happen too when you do it the other way around) the item moves to first spot it finds in the first column, which is ok, however, when the first column of your current tab is full, the item will move to the first open spot in the previous (or next) tab with free space in the first column.
For exemple, while I was in the second tab and I switched the two items, one of them moved to the first tab of the stash, at first I thought "WTH", my item just disappeared, only to find it later on.
