Updater Bug

I have had a few times now where the updater and/or my computer has crashed while in the process of updating and had it wipe out several gigabytes worth of data.

For example, I opened the launcher to update this morning, needing about 260 MB to be available (the new patch) and having 3.02 GB already downloaded. Shortly after we had a power outage, completely stopping the process. When power came back on and I ran the Diablo 3 Launcher again, it now said I only had 1.21 GB worth of data downloaded and needed approximately 2GB more (despite the fact that I played the game the other night just fine).
