slipped past Manglemaw without killing him

In Defiled Crypt, the one with the crown, down to Level 2. Manglemaw emerges, Barb does Leap Attack and starts slashing with swords, somehow slips into the opening to the next level.

Not sure what's intended, but it seems like killing Manglemaw should be required before being allowed to advance to the Chancellor level of the crypt. Went back up to Level 2 and there he was - so Barb continued the fight.

Manglemaw is, and has been for awhile, an optional boss. As you can see in the Beta 5 patch notes, he now rewards better items for killing him than he did in Beta 4, but he is still optional.

If you want him to be a mandatory boss, I'd recommend posting in the Beta Feedback forums.
