Able to teleport to same waypoint

If your latest checkpoint is the same as your current waypoint, you are able to select it and teleport to it.

Normally, the option to teleport to the current location is grayed out. However, when it is the latest checkpoint, it is selectable. See image below:

Also of note is that it doesn't teleport you on top of the waypoint, it teleports you 10 feet away (see next image).

As mfb described, checkpoints are not waypoints. The checkpoint you click in the waypoint window will take you to your most recent location where you got the "Checkpoint reached" UI pop-up.

Checkpoints constantly overwrite themselves, so it is possible that you found a new checkpoint without realizing it.
