Installer says I have an old OS (Win Vista)

Hey guys,

I've just downloaded my Beta installer and started it. After I specified the installation directory and verified that I'd read the license, installer suddenly told me that my operating system was too old, and aborted the process!

The weird thing is that I have Windows Vista, and it's definitely listed as one of the supported OSes.

I've then checked that I had all the latest updates to Vista, restarted my computer, launched the installer again, but with the same sad results. No matter what I do, it says I have an old operating system.

Any help?

Hey dspair, I'm going to need some info from you :)

Can you please get a screenshot of this happening? What operating system does the Launcher think you are using?

Also, what Service Pack of Vista are you using? If you are unsure, run the Windows Updater to make sure Vista is up to date.

Can you click "More Information" when you get that message and take a screenshot of that as well?

Hey dspair, it sounds like you are missing the Service Packs for Windows Vista. Can you try installing Service Packs 1 and 2?

If these do not help, let me know.
