Blizzard Launcher: Failed to Download

I just came home from work and tried to load up Diablo 3, I have had for week or two, and i played perfectly well yesterday. I think there is or was a new patch released because now when i open the launcher it instantly pops up with two messages over the launcher one saying

"Failed to download. If problem persist contact customer support."
the other says
"Blizzard Launcher: Failed to Download. If problem persist contact customer support."

I need some help here because everything i have tried is a no go... yes i am running as administrator and yes tried running the diablo 3 file through the actual folder... same thing.

Anyone else having these problems or can help.? Blizz Devs? Anyone?
