Not sure if it's your issue or not

I tend to open all of my games through steam with no issue. Whether they are steam games or not.

I've done this with WoW and starcraft 2 and most of the time it works fine.

Usually in older legacy games such as D2 the overlay does not work.

Well with D3 the steam overlay is not working. Thought i'd put it out there since i know of quite a few people who open their games with steam as well.

Hey Reapercometh,

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, Blizzard does not support any issues our games have when using other game launching services. We have no plans to make sure Diablo III works with Steam (or any other program like Steam) on our end.

My suggestion would be to post this on Steam's technical support forums. They could probably help you out since SC2 and WoW do work with the Steam overlay.

Again, I'm sorry to say that we do not directly support programs like Steam. Any Blizzard game that does work with Steam is coincidental as we do not design our games for Steam.
