Single player campaign revert

Was fighting using Barbarian, level 7, in the Northwest Cemetery area.

Approached the gate, attempted to open, would not activate.

30 seconds of no effect on the world, message: Game client disconnected (I cannot remember the exact message, sorry :/)

Kicks back to hero selection screen. Selected Barbarian, level 7, and entered world at very beginning of game. Kept all items, including quest items, and kept level, but game reset as if no quests had been completed and had started the game with a character at level 1.

Hey guys,

Thanks so much for your reports. In its current implementation, our save system will save your character on every quest step in the game, save every five minutes, and save on log out.

I am forwarding all of this information to the Diablo III developers to see if there is anything we can do on the Battle.net side to make saving during a server crash better for players.
