This takes some steps to actually do:

Get to Cemetery Level 3 and save the Templar, and retrieve his gear.
Get the WayPoint in Level 3
Save/exit !
Start a new game, continuing on your current quest
Return to Cemetery Level 3 WP

You are now past the point where you save the Templar but you don't have him with you --- and you can't get past those stairs to Jondar! You have to backtrack and save him again. Lame.

Hey Topdek,

What do you mean by start a new game? Are you simply making a new game or are you restarting the entire quest line? If you are restarting the quest line, it's not a bug.
