Work around for Error_3

Hey guys,

The Diablo III development team just got back to me about a work around for this error several of you have reported.

Players should try removing their Battle.net cache folder located in their program data. The full address to the folder is here:
C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\

Note: This will ONLY fix the login issue with Error_3. You may still get the error when making heroes, deleting heroes, and starting a new game, but you should be able to log in using this work around.

Thank you guys for your patience and with your help trying this work around out. Let us know if this does not fix your Error_3 issues.

Any idea where the cache is located under OSX? Getting the same error on a few Macs.

Post this on the Mac Tech Support forums please :) Sorry I only have PC info.

Still getting Error_3 when trying to Create/Delete characters and the Error_24000 when trying to Start a new game.

Yep, we still don't have full fixes for those yet as those errors are not affecting everyone. However, glad to hear that you were able to log in :)

Delete cache folder, run as admin...no chance. ERROR_3003.

That's not Error_3....
