Though I have been able to successfully launch the game one time, the other 99+ times have resulted in this crash:

i went into my network card properties and turned off ipv6 and changed my dns to the google dns.

Players who were reporting crashes at the character selection screen no longer crash after using that work around.

Let me know if you're still crashing after that.
