Your System Profiler for the Mac is showing the wrong info or the System Check for the Beta Opt in?

They're probably talking about the System Check for the Beta Opt-in. If you want tons of crash reports, I made a zip of a bunch: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/496608/Crash%20Reports.zip
I made a more detailed report on what I found in http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/3077957880

It would be really nice if this could get fixed before the beta, I had to submit my beta profile from Boot Camp. =\

Awesome, just let us know. And the link that Rezecib posted, as well as the Mac WoW & SC2 forums have tons of troubleshooting steps to try.

This is a prevalent issue that more or less effects all mac users. The system check for the beta opt in does not correctly report RAM values for the GPU.

This is across the board, for Mac and PC. Here's a link for more reference.

Unfortunately, it's still not working for me, although I haven't updated to 10.7.1 yet because I'm waiting on a safe protocol for it on hackintoshes.

But KlintP, I didn't post a link to any troubleshooting… I mean, I talked about some troubleshooting steps I did, but none of them helped. The link I posted was to a bunch of crash reports that I assembled as a body of crashes for you to look at to help you debug it. =\

EDIT: I looked at the crash reports, and it seems the common theme is a crash in this function:

_ZN17SystemCheckEngine18GetVideoDeviceInfoER17VideoDeviceInfo__

Which makes sense, given that most of the inaccuracies seem to be linked to the graphics card (model, VRAM) and resolution.

Try some additional troubleshooting steps here:

May not work on hackintoshes tho...
