(Edit: Why is a fansite blocked by the word filter? 163 dot com used to be Diablo3 dot cc)
Now, let's clear up some business. This stuff is being posted by kane, a prolific blizzard fan who works for a website that is in the fansite program. So this is very likely to be legit.
What the webpage proposes is that the first 2,000 people who pre-order the game on there are guaranteed a beta key, a first-wave key no less. This is incredibly interesting for a lot of reasons.
1. 2,000 keys. The D2 beta was 1,000 people total.
2. There may be an asian beta? In addition to an NA/EU beta?
3. They're guaranteed first wave. Nothing like that has been done by blizzard before, even blizzcon attendees didn't get first-wave priority invites for SC2.
4. There will be waves of testers.
