however im liking the way the blood looks below the monk in pic 95.....http://us.blizzard.com/diablo3/media/screenshots.xml#95 ......to the monks imediate right is more tomatoes though...... It might be possible that the diffrence is in the type of death or wound inflicted...or the type of monster slain.....Idk

The blood effects are always in a general state of being unfinished. BUT the darker red stuff is sort of blood, sort of whatever makes a champion monster a champion. In any case they kind of stick out a bit too much from the soft sand textures, and just in general aren't matched up with the background textures as well as they could be, and so it's always a work in progress. Of course.
