Xbox One Season question

To play the Season, will Xbox Live Silver (free 'Online') suffice, or will you need Xbox Live Gold (subscription/$$) in order to create/play a Seasonal character?

Hey all, just want to jump in right quick with some (hopefully) helpful answers.

You do need to have an Xbox Live / PlayStation Network account to play in Seasons, but PS+ / Gold accounts are not required unless you are playing online with other players (i.e. non-couch co-op). Hope that helps!
