Weird Item Stat DPS calculations

Posted this originally in the Items forum but I believe now it warrants being posted in bug thread.

I have a ring that adds 3-8 DMG and 7 PREC
So why does my DPS drop when I equip add ring that is 3-9 DMG, 4 ATK, and 6 PREC

A buddy and I performed a test with the 3-8 DMG, 7 PREC ring and then 2 rings: a 3-8 DMG ring and a 7 PREC ring. Basically the DPS measurement is different from when just the one dual stat ring is equipped and then when both the single stat rings are equipped.

There are no hidden stats in the game, and this is a bug.

However, with the recent game changes that Jay Wilson detailed in his blog, this bug may be fixed as early the next Beta patch. Please let me know if you see bad item comparisons in the next Beta patch since all of the stats are redesigned.
