Skeleton King quest bug

If this is a mistake, I do apologize, but I can't seem to get any plot to happen after I slay the Skeleton King. I went back to town and talked to everyone available but nothing seems to give me a quest or hint on where to go. There is a gate that heads NW out of the cemetery but it is still locked.

Is the Skeleton King questline the entire beta, or have I somehow done something wrong?

The Skeleton King is the end of the Beta, but you can still level your characters to level 13 and increase the Blacksmith's crafting levels!
