Server shutdown, now I cant start the game

The server went down a few hours ago and now I can't start the game. Is the server still down? Is this what the beta does when it can't connect? The executable just shuts down and gives no user feedback?

Is there no post that even states what the server went down for or when it will be back? Not even unofficial posts about it....

We are aware that players are having trouble with the Launcher not updating and will pushing out a tools patch as early as Monday or Tuesday of next week.

If you're still having trouble with the Launcher, try closing it and re-opening it. This often forces the Launcher to pick up a new tools patch when it's having problems on its own.

Right, see my issue currently is that the launcher doesn't even open. I have nothing to close and re-open. It's a confusing mess :P

I guess I'll just wait and see if it fixes itself.

Hate to say it, but I would try a full uninstall. In addition, go to your C:/ProgramData folder and delete the Battle.net folder.

After all of that is done, try re-installing.
