Sell or Salvage? - Blue Tracker

So I just picked up ROS last night after taking a *lot* of time off from D3 (as in I only have about 500,000 gold on my account).

To the people who know this game (and how to earn gold/craft items) a lot better than I do - should I be salvaging everything or selling everything? Or should I be salvaging yellows and selling blues?

Please help...I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing...

(PS I'm only a level 61 so not sure if the crafting mats I'm finding now will even help once I hit 70...)
