Season 5 Start: Blizzard Time Zone Confusion

I pulled this from the official Blog

A: Season 5 will begin Friday, January 15 at 5:00 p.m. PDT in North America, 5:00 p.m. CEST in Europe, and 5:00 p.m. KST in Asia. For assistance with time zones, click here.

At first glance, you think, ok, five in the afternoon for Europe, which is what fansites, such as Diablofans report. Then you see something nonsensical:CEST. Which stands for Central European Summer Time. Currently, there is no summer time in Europe. NTP request failed.

CET (Central European Time) = UTC +1 (Universal Time Code)
CEST (Central European Summer Time) = UTC +2

Depending on whether Blizzard made a typo, the new season starts at 5 p.m, or at 6 p.m. Because there is no such thing as 5 pm CEST right now.

The question is:
what did Blizzard mean and is there somebody at Blizzard who speaks UTC? Swatch Beats are fine as well. CET/CEST, too complicated, please do not use for answer.

Was, indeed, a typo. This has been fixed! Thanks for the report.
