Royal Calf 2018 Darkening Event

Does anyone have a clue on how to get the royal calf this year? Wirt's leg is not just a magic item that doesn't salvage into the map anymore.

There are hundreds of posts about this now. I am guessing it is a bug but we shall see.

That it is. We have an investigation underway to find the source cause.
