Rerolling items in RoS

Do i have a wrong imagination or does the feature of rerolling items for better stats via the new NPC lead to rich people having pretty much perfect gear very early on?

I was hoping that finally gold would make a smaller impact, as its not possible to buy the best stufff from the AH anymore, but if you think this whole thing through, you can still faceroll the game pretty hard if you have some billions saved up by using the new NPC to reroll your items until they are perfect.

Maybe that doesnt apply to all slots, since some might have legendaries as BiS, but to many, like gloves, rings, ammys, etc.

Kind of weird isnt it?

Players who are already wealthy as they start their adventure in Reaper of Souls will have an advantage, but they won't be able to endlessly Enchant gear until it's perfect. Not only are there Enchanting limitations, but keep in mind that many of the crafting resources required to Enchant items cannot be purchased. Players will need to gather these resources by other methods (like salvaging loot, completing Bounties, or running Nephalem Rifts) if they want to Enchant items.

If you'd like to see a little more information on Enchanting then please check out our: Reaper of Souls First Look; The Mystic blog. It has a great overview of the Mystic, and Enchanting!

Grimiku, would you happen to know what the material requirements are for enchanting level 60 items currently found in 2.0? Do they use 61-70 tier materials or current materials like brimstones and iridescent tears?

Level 60 items should require salvaged materials from their same level range to Enchant. So, yeah, Brimstones and Iridescent Tears should be the bulk of what you need to Enchant them.
