playing with friends/ disconnecting

My friend and I both have Beta, and wanted to play together. so we joined party's and got into a game. Instantly his whole PC froze. and d/c from the game and servers. however i was still connected.

Same thing happened is the previous game, we didn't even get to the front gate before he got D/C.
