No information released about what really matters...

Many people have been posting about their excitement or apprehensiveness over the direction of RoS since it was announced. In my case, I have been cautiously optimistic, but have held off on really forming an opinion due to the product still being in development. However, as time has progressed, I've seen lots of updates regarding "datamined" information pertaining to class skills, the crusader class, etc., but not one single update about what I feel is the core gameplay of the Diablo franchise: flipping dead bodies.

Don't get me wrong, it's amusing to have some back story about demons and angels and whatnot to create the ambiance, but I feel that the true purpose of Diablo, namely, finding dead bodies in new and exciting locations (and then looting them) is being swallowed up by the "mini-game" of fighting the endless hordes of demons that want to stop you from rifling through the belongings of dead people.

I felt that, over all, Diablo 3 did a pretty good job of presenting a wide variety of dead bodies in unique locales-- you have your sun-bleached corpses, frozen corpses, burned corpses, bloody corpses, peasants, soldiers, mercenaries, etc. But what is RoS going to bring to the table? I'd like to see some information about the new sorts of cadavers that I can expect from the expansion. Since the "angel of death" makes a cameo appearance in the game, I have eagerly anticipated the new sorts of lifeless bodies I can roll over and have piles of gold fly out from... yet, there hasn't been a single piece of information released on this matter. What gives?

I can assure you that if you're keen to behold more discarded corpses--you're in luck!

What new types of dead bodies are you hoping to pillage in Reaper of Souls?
